These connections and conversations lead to happy customers and better outcomes for the business. Anaïs is a Developer Advocate at Aqua Security, where she contributes to Aqua’s cloud native open source projects. When she is not advocating DevOps best practices, she runs her own YouTube Channel centered around cloud native technologies. Before joining Aqua, Anais worked as SRE at Civo, a cloud native service provider, where she worked on infrastructure for hundreds of tenant clusters. Andrew Clay Shafer evangelized DevOps tools and practices before DevOps was a word. Living at the intersection of Software Delivery, Cloud Computing and Open Source with experience in almost every role from support and QA to product and development across two decades, Andrew now focuses on engineering resilient sociotechnical systems and communities as a founder of Ergonautic.

Andrew is a professional developer advocate at Mattermost where he creates resources to empower the open source community. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, he taught English abroad in Japan, learned to code between teaching classes, and later became the lead web developer for an e-learning company back home in the United States. A lifelong advocate of career and technical education, Andrew's passion is helping others unlock their true potential.

Christoph Hartmann, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Mondoo, wants to make the world more secure.
Christoph’s cloud security experience began 15 years ago at Deutsche Telekom. He secured critical infrastructure at scale and co-developed the widely adopted open source security project dev-sec.io.
Building on this experience, he co-founded Vulcano Security and initiated the open source project InSpec, which helps Fortune 100 companies automate compliance assessments for Linux and Windows. Vulcano Security was quickly acquired by DevOps automation leader Chef Software. Christoph served as Engineering Director at Chef and was responsible for globally scaling the compliance engineering team.

Daniel is a consultant at NETWAYS Professional Services and is fond of all things cloud-native. His duties comprise client work including Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab. Since the start of 2022, Daniel has been looking into cloud-native technologies, mainly Kubernetes and its vast ecosystem of tools, and became CKA certified in the process.

After attending KubeCon EU 2022, he now wants to switch from the visitor’s to the speaker’s perspective in 2023.

When Daniel is not trying out new frameworks and tools, he enjoys coding on some pet projects, mainly in Python and Rust.

Derik is a Principal Engineer currently working at Syntasso to enable platform teams to build the secure, scalable and usable platforms. He fell in love with Java at University and has gone on to talk at many conferences about using Java with microservices and related technology. John Willis has worked in the IT management industry for more than 35 years. Currently he is an Evangelist at Docker Inc.
